Torpedo Testing Site in Bushy Park

A luxury home built on the site of a Cold War torpedo testing site has gone on the market for £6.75million. Reported in the Daily Mail, the article refers to the building being in Richmond although it is actually in the Hampton Hill area in Bushy Park.

The picture shows the building viewed from above during the 1950s, The Rotunda was formerly a cutting-edge facility used to test underwater missiles as the threat from the Soviets grew.
