Twickenham to Teddington by Trolleybus 1931.

This amazing piece of film from 1931 is not only of interest to trolleybus enthusiasts but also gives us an insight into what the local area was like at the beginning of the 1930s. It is of particular interest to members of Teddington Methodist Church as it shows the Victorian church building, standing proudly on the junction of Hampton and Stanley Roads. This area is now a triangular green because the beautiful church was demolished, in August 1944, by a flying bomb.  The new church which opened in 1952 was built further back from the junction.
